At DRILL, we believe that you cannot build people without people who are willing to invest in people.

Behind every class, every assignment, every follow-up message, every mentoring conversation and every participant who completes a DRILL programme is a team of people who have chosen to give their time, knowledge, experience and energy to the development of others.

Our Team and Faculty are an essential part of the DRILL experience.

They bring together facilitators, instructors, mentors, Build-Up Buddies, programme coordinators and professionals with different experiences, competencies and perspectives, united by a shared commitment to human development.

The story of DRILL has been shaped by people who gave generously of their time and expertise, particularly during its formative years.

Meet the team

The Faculty

The Drill Camp Faculty

DRILL’s Faculty comprises individuals who contribute knowledge and experience across areas relevant to personal development, leadership, career development, business, communication, productivity and professional life.

Our facilitators are expected to bring their professional and personal experiences into the learning environment in ways that make knowledge practical and relevant to the realities participants face. They teach with clarity, mentor with empathy, challenge with wisdom and serve with integrity.

We believe that the best facilitators do more than deliver a lecture. They create possibilities. They help participants see what they could become, understand what they need to develop and take the next deliberate step towards becoming it.

How We Work

The Drill Leadership System

The DRILL team operates through complementary roles, each contributing to the larger objective of developing people.

The Coach

At the heart of the programme is the Coach; the person responsible for providing strategic direction, driving innovation and maintaining the larger vision of the DRILL experience.

The Coach provides leadership for curriculum development, programme design, transformation initiatives and the continuous evolution of the DRILL model. The responsibility is not simply to run programmes, but to continually ask: What do people need now? What will they need next? And how can DRILL become better equipped to serve them?

Facilitators

Our Facilitators bring subject-matter knowledge, professional experience and practical perspectives into the DRILL learning environment.

They transform concepts into conversations, experiences and lessons that participants can relate to and apply. Their role goes beyond teaching. They challenge assumptions, stimulate reflection, encourage questions and help participants connect learning to real life.

Instructors

Their contributions represent the spirit upon which DRILL was built: selflessness, diligence, excellence and a willingness to invest in the growth of others.

Build-Up Buddies

The Build-Up Buddy, or BUB, is one of the distinctive features of the DRILL model.

BUBs provide the human accountability layer that helps participants remain engaged throughout their development journey. They follow up with assigned participants, monitor attendance and participation, encourage completion of assignments, observe progress and communicate relevant feedback to supervising Instructors and programme leadership. They are growth companions.

Our Culture

People & Culture

Our People & Culture function focuses on the people who make DRILL possible.

This includes supporting the development of team members and volunteers, gathering participant and faculty feedback, coordinating performance reviews, identifying learning opportunities, recognising exemplary contributions and helping cultivate a healthy culture within the DRILL community.

People & Culture

Because a team is committed to developing others must also remain committed to developing itself.
