Who We Are

DRILL is more than just a programme. It is a response.

Our vision at Drill is formed on the backdrop that development should not be a privilege of access. Not everyone begins from the same place. Some young people have access to mentors, professional networks, quality learning resources and supportive environments. Others do not. We want to help narrow that gap.

Through free or subsidised programmes, scholarships, mentorship and social-impact initiatives, DRILL seeks to make foundational development opportunities accessible to underserved and underprivileged young people. Because a person’s financial circumstances should not be the sole determinant of whether they get the opportunity to develop their potential. We believe access to the right guidance at the right time can change the trajectory of a life.

At Drill, we understand that a young person can be intelligent and still be directionless. Ambitious and still be inconsistent. Talented and still be unprepared. Educated and still lack the confidence to navigate the world beyond the classroom. We see this often.

Young people leave school with certificates, aspirations and dreams, yet many enter adulthood without sufficient access to mentorship, practical guidance, personal discipline, emotional intelligence, career direction or the accountability systems that help turn intention into action.

At DRILL, we began asking a simple question: What if potential could be deliberately developed? What if young people were given a structured environment where they could pause, think deeply about their lives, learn practical principles, practise new behaviours, receive guidance, and be held accountable for the things they said they wanted to change?

That question became DRILL.

And DRILL became a journey.

Our vision at Drill is formed on the backdrop that development should not be a privilege of access. Not everyone begins from the same place. Some young people have access to mentors, professional networks, quality learning resources and supportive environments. Others do not. We want to help narrow that gap.
Our Vision

To raise world-class individuals who are exceptionally equipped to excel in their pursuits, lead their generation and make an indelible impact on the world.

Our Mission

To build, train and equip individuals through intentional capacity development, structured learning, mentorship, accountability and practical experiences, strengthening their character, competence, discipline, clarity and leadership capacity so they can excel in their pursuits, lead responsibly, become catalysts for positive change and make meaningful contributions to society and the world.

Our Objectives

At DRILL, our objective is simple but ambitious:

1. Develop the Individual

To cultivate disciplined, self-aware, emotionally intelligent and purpose-driven individuals capable of taking ownership of their lives, decisions, growth and responsibilities.

2. Build Practical Capacity

To equip participants with relevant knowledge, competencies and transferable skills across personal development, communication, leadership, productivity, financial literacy, relationships, creativity and problem-solving.

3. Prepare People for Work, Enterprise and Leadership

To strengthen the readiness of students, graduates, young professionals and emerging leaders for employment, entrepreneurship, organisational life and leadership.

4. Turn Learning Into Transformation

To create structured systems that move individuals from knowledge to action through practical assignments, coaching, mentorship, accountability, reflection and evaluation.

5. Expand Access to Development

To make meaningful personal, professional and leadership development accessible through scholarships, free and subsidised programmes, community initiatives and strategic partnerships.

6. Multiply Impact Through People

To develop individuals who become contributors, leaders, mentors, solution providers and catalysts for positive change within their families, workplaces, businesses, communities and society.

We are grateful to our awesome partners. Thank you!

The Numbers Tell Part of the Story. The People Tell the Rest.

What began as a deliberate effort to develop a small group of young people has grown into a community of learners, leaders and emerging changemakers. In our journey so far, we have seen the DRILL model evolve through multiple cohorts, classes, events and initiatives.
